Northern Ireland


Tourism Northern Ireland is responsible for the development of tourism and the marketing of Northern Ireland as a tourist destination.

Their mission, build the value of tourism for the domestic economy in partnership with government and industry - achieving a ‘tourism economy’ of £2bn per annum, by 2030.

For several years, we've been working with Tourism NI to develop and implement a digital strategy which supports their ambition. 


July 2019 – The Open 2019. As Golf is major draw card for Northern Ireland, we worked with Tourism NI to produce a new campaign site which presented Northern Ireland’s prestigious golf courses to the world under the sub brand 'NI Made for Golf'. 

For the tournament event itself, we developed an interactive experience which was deployed to a series of touch-screen kiosklocated across Royal Portrush golf course.  

Our aim, to inspire fans and their families to re-think Northern Ireland as more than a golfing destination and encourage the idea of returning to enjoy what else the country has to offer.  

November 2019 – Alongside Tourism NI and its media partners, we designed and launched a new digital experience to promote the new “Embrace a Giant Spirit” concept to travel trade. This featured at World Travel Market – the largest tourism exhibition in the world – and helped bring life to the new consumer brand. 

March 2020 – The tourism industry paused. In less than a fortnight, we launched a new, dedicated Covid-19 microsite. Providing the industry with daily updates, guidance, and relevant content.  

Next up – in Summer 2020 – we’ll launch The Business Hub, and a revamped industry facing experience. Deeply integrated and leveraging Tourism NI’s investment in Microsoft Dynamics CRM to offer self-service, and truly personalised content.
