The 2017 Digital Media Awards took place on Friday 17th February at the Clayton Hotel in Dublin and it was an exciting one for Engage, as we were up for five awards with our clients Power NI, permanent tsb and PSNI, with our UX partners Fathom.
In their 12th year, The Accenture Digital Media Awards are among the most prestigious awards in Ireland’s digital industry; celebrating the brands, organisations and agencies that show creativity and innovation across the ever-evolving sector.
The first award of the night was for Best Website and we were absolutely thrilled to pick up the gong with our UX partners Fathom, for our work on the PSNI website.
Engage’s Commercial Director, Stephen Leathem was there to pick up the award on the night and said: “We’re very proud of this award – to have helped create the Best Website in Ireland is a great achievement. Both Engage and Fathom UX worked very hard on this project to create an online experience that adds value to users and is truly forward thinking.
“We’ve received incredible industry and user feedback on the PSNI website and this award really gives credit to the joint effort of the Engage and Fathom teams.”
In addition to winning the top award of the night, we also scored Silver and Bronze for the rest of our nominations in the Financial Services, Public Services and Utilities categories, for our work with permanent tsb, PSNI and Power NI, respectively.
All in all, the 80s themed awards show was a successful one for Engage, our clients and our UX partners, Fathom.
As we celebrate our fifth birthday in 2017, we have some exciting projects lined up and this award win sets it up to be the best year yet for team Engage.
