We are currently recruiting a talented Senior Developer to join our award-winning team based in Belfast.

What you can expect

You will be working on the latest Microsoft Stack Technologies which includes coding in C# .Net using Episerver product as a platform and delivering responsive web applications to facilitate Digital Transformation for a variety of local and UK clients.

Projects range from integrating with various ERP’s such as Dynamics AX to allow products to be sold online (Eason’s), to integrating with large Oracle Billing platforms to facilitate bill payment online (Power NI), to building an app that creates 3D scans to allow for the creation of prescription orthoses.

Your role will include  

  • Developing web applications using Microsoft technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, MVC, SQL, Cordova, Visual Studio, VSTS.
  • Integration across platforms such as Avensia Storefront and Dynamics AX
  • Lead the technical design, coding, testing, and implementation of highly complex, multi-platform application systems
  • Offer guidance to technical staff and clients to investigate, analyse, and resolve complex technical problems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of business analysts, architects, developers, and technical managers to deliver the best solution
  • Execute work in a way that adheres to programming standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards
  • Estimate and define Sprints and project tasks in an Agile framework
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the business needs driving projects
  • Identify development and testing process improvements 


What we look for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • At least 7 years of experience designing, developing and implementing web applications utilising Microsoft stack technologies 
  • At least 2 years of experience in leading projects from initial concept through to  implementation and maintenance 
  • Demonstrated experience of architecting, designing, and developing scalable, resilient, and high-volume applications 
  • SQL experience including complex query writing and Database Design
  • Agile Development Experience in SCRUM or similar method
  • Demonstrated ability to break down complex projects into well-defined and manageable units of work
  • Ability to execute critical thinking and demonstrate an ability to overcome challenges and technical barriers.

Further Criteria

  • Experience in MVC, AngularJS, Azure or Episerver
