We are looking for a User Experience leader to drive our award-winning team. The ideal candidate will have a strong record of driving User Experience programmes with not only a sound working knowledge of current UX practices, but a clear vision of where the discipline should go. You will have a track record of driving User Experience from research to high fidelity mock-ups and beyond within more than one business vertical.

We will provide, a high degree of autonomy and influence across a broad range of projects using industry leading technology.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and define the analytical approach to defining user needs.
  • Be an advocate of User Experience best practice by conducting research and developing great User Experiences by sketching, prototyping, and mocking up digital products.
  • Defining and leading client workshops.
  • Conduct and report on user research and testing.
  • Design and deliver; persona user stories, user flows and information architecture.
  • Deliver high fidelity mock-ups or prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices.
  • User test.
  • Work in a collaborative environment with clients whilst also developing team members.
  • Developing the Made to Engage UX Methodology and creating industry comment and thought leadership.
  • Working on new business. Developing proposals and working within pitch teams.


Essential Criteria

  • You will be the champion of the user in all Made to Engage initiatives.
  • A clear, demonstrable, point of view on User Experience, the direction of the industry and the benefits of strong UX.
  • Proven working knowledge of User Experience practices and deliverables.
  • Expertise in a range of UX tools including sketching and Axure, or equivalent.
  • Understanding of front end technologies.
  • Ability to work closely with, and lead clients and project teams.
  • A solid understanding of usability patterns, accessibility standards, and user centred design.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate UX processes, ideas, and solutions to colleagues, teams and clients.
  • Be excited about collaborating closely with stakeholders and communicating UX decisions.
  • Be willing to assist teammates, share knowledge and collaborate with them, and learn from them.
  • Be open to give and receive feedback and constructive criticism.
  • Be passionate about User Experience design and other areas of design, interface development and innovation.
