We are pleased to announce our new partnership with Hornby – the international railway modellers responsible for enchanting thousands of fans across the generations. Made to Engage will bring a transformative strategy to the 117-year old business to help it compete and secure its future success.

Hornby was founded in 1901 by Liverpool-born Frank Hornby who went on to invent many landmark models and collectables including the highly popular Hornby Model Railways. The company also owns many other classic brands including Scalextric, Airfix and Corgi.

Steven Cassin, Managing Director of Made to Engage, says, “Hornby is a brand that is meaningful to so many of us. It has a special place in our childhood with brands like Airfix and Scalextric and as creators of some of the most collectible toys of all-time. Since reconnecting with the brand on this exciting project we’ve been reminded of the love with which it’s held - for both its toys and its remarkable collectables range which connects with modellers and hobbyists in such a deep way. We are really excited by the potential of this new partnership – especially given the recent partnership announcements and exciting strategic initiatives Hornby has devised.”

Hornby recently announced a licensing deal with Warner Bros, which will see it release a range of vehicles featuring Warner Bros and DC franchises including Harry Potter and DC’s Super Heroes.

With Hornby, we have big plans in store for 2019 and beyond. This is just the beginning of a valued relationship with the much-loved organisation, so watch this space.
