The 16th annual Marketing Excellence Ireland Awards took place on the 12th of November at Titanic Belfast, boasting the hottest marketing campaigns from every business sector in Ireland.
Over 100 companies entered the awards in what was a record-breaking number of submissions for CIM Ireland. A total of 60 companies were shortlisted as finalists for the award ceremony with 14 companies honoured by the CIM for marketing excellence on the night.
Nick Read, Chair of the Ireland Board at CIM, said “As marketers, we have faced many challenges over the past few years; we have dealt with tight budgets, pressure on consumer spending and increased 'buyer power'. This has meant that our profession has had to be more creative, agile and responsive to the market, and to embrace new technologies in order to win the support of our customers.”
Engage had three clients shortlisted for a total of four awards:
Winner of Marketing Excellence Award in the Construction, Engineering, Automotive, Transport and other Manufacturing category
CosyRoof have successfully penetrated new markets through digital advertising and are now recognised as an industry leader. Through successful implementation of its integrated marketing strategy, CosyRoof was able to deliver a consistent message across offline and online marketing to achieve and exceed its campaign objectives and increase sales by 100%, with 90% of all leads now coming from outside of Northern Ireland.

The Irish Greyhound Board recognised the need for an integrated marketing campaign focussing on our leisure consumer to increase summer footfall and sales. This campaign had to maintain a consistent message while having the flexibility to be personalised for each of our nine stadiums and our different markets within our leisure segment i.e. families and groups
Using the strategy developed with our digital agency, Engage, we were able to ensure our online and offline marketing delivered the right message, at the right time through the right channel. Our ‘right channelling’ approach was customised for our target audiences successfully achieving our aim of driving traffic to our website gogreyhoundracing.ie, converting website visitors into bookings and building loyalty.
