Made to Engage collaborated with Discover Northern Ireland to improve the customer experience for property investors at MIPIM 2019. 

The annual MIPIM conference, a fixture of the property market, comprises of thousands of major cities showcasing their investment opportunities to a massive global audience of high income property developers.

As part of our strong partnership, Discover Northern Ireland, the tourist board, asked us to create an exceptional experience for MIPIM 2019 that would make Belfast a prime investment destination within Europe, delivering further economic success and improving the quality of life of people here. 

In just 40 days we delivered an experience that highlighted Belfast's value to investors.

Our investor-centred 96-inch touchscreen map was unveiled at MIPIM 2019 in Cannes, where it created a fantastic buzz. Investors were excited to use it because it allows them to quickly access and explore a huge number of premium opportunities within Belfast.

In just 40 days, Made to Engage and DNI teams built the business strategy and vision, created the design and developed the experience.

Our interactive map brings the best of Belfast to investors' fingertips.

To promote Belfast as the dynamic region it is, we gathered data and information on opportunities from the six Belfast City Deal partner councils and incorporated it into the design of our touchscreen map. The interactive interfaces allow investors to drill down to industry sectors that interest them. Or they can switch perspective to infrastructure and see what a connected region Belfast is.

With high quality video content and images available for key locations, the experience fully immerses them in the economic and cultural potential of modern Belfast.

The brand new MIPIM experience has helped attract hundreds of millions of pounds worth of investment into Belfast.

The solution has been hugely popular with investors and we’re proud that our energies invested are reaping dividends for the country. It was Belfast’s most successful year yet at MIPIM, with over £1 billion expected to be invested in the region over the next 15 years.
