The successful candidate will be able to use their knowledge and skills to translate tickets from our clients, validate the issues have been resolved and deployed successfully.  The candidate should also be able to use their investigative skills to review issues found and report them back to the developer with as much information as possible.


Your role will include

  • Participating in the creation and execution of test events
  • Creating and maintaining automated and manual tests
  • Prioritising work based on agreed SLA's
  • Post deploy regression/sanity checks
  • Having excellent communication skills you will need to be comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders/management, technical and non-technical staff
  • Liaising with developers to ensure unit and integration tests provide comprehensive test coverage
  • Identifying, triaging and re-testing defects.  Ensuring that the root cause of the defects are analysed to try and prevent similar defects in the future
  • Reporting on test progress to project management and ensure that risks are escalated as necessary
  • Ensuring test events are delivered to agreed timelines


You'll have

  • At least 2 years’ experience of testing (ideally within an agile team)
  • Experience of writing test cases based on business requirements
  • Experience using test management tools
  • Experience of reporting on testing status

and ideally 

  • Experience of working within a continuous integration environment
  • Experience using JIRA
  • Experience using VSTS
  • Test automation experience with Selenium WebDriver
  • Experience using JMeter
  • Experience using SQL
